This wine represents a bit of a makeover in approach compared to what is traditionally-made Barbera. While Dave’s Nebbiolos are made with very little deviation from tradition, he wanted to bring back to Barbera a little more crunchy fruit characteristics, making for a wine that delivers instantly to the drinker instead of the slow evolution needed from a the traditional style.
