- Classic, traditional Chablis
- One of the most famous names in the region
- Delicate, refreshing and lively
This is the new venture of Michel Laroche, who sold his eponymous company a few years ago. Sourced from Maligny in the north east of Chablis, this is classic Laroche: subtle, slatey, and mineral-etched ready for drinking now and over the next 3-5 years.
“...a focused, steel-fermented Chardonnay from Michel Laroche, who’s been making wine in Chablis for almost 50 years and whosefamily has owned vines here since 1695. The wine sees no oak and the fruit does the talking, all finesse and elegance. It’s bone-dry, of course, with whistle-clean keen acidity, making it a perfect aperitif.” Mark Pardoe, MW Spectator Magazine
