- Vinification influenced by Alsace
- Wild yeast ferment, aged in older oak on lees
- Beautifully round and textured
Winemaker Paul Pujol has spent significant time making wine in Alsace which goes some way to explaining his mastery of aromatic grape varieties. As he is quick to point out, this wine 'gets the same meticulous treatment in the vineyard as our top Pinot Noir and holds a special place in our hearts'. A riesling of supreme intensity yet ballerina-like poise and deft balance, this is surely one of the finest examples of riesling in the Antipodes.
